Happy Birthday Florence!
Today, I skipped out in gym night for the lamest reason ever. Abhi and I were heading over to Chris's place to watch the season 4 premiere of Lost. It's a horrible horrible show, but for some reason I can't stop watching it. (The season 4 premiere was pretty good, but season premieres tend to be.)

Friday, January 25, 2008--After work today, I went to Uncle's Games to play a booster draft. Apparently, Gabe moved to Michigan, and now Brian is running the FNMs. Today, we had a booster draft, but only 6 people showed up. I ended up drafting a goblin deck that was so bad, I won't even bother listing it here. (I went 0-3.) I blame it on my lack of beef. I had plenty of removal, though.
In one of my games, I have a Nettlevine Blight on my opponent. It killed off one creature and then spent the next few turns eating his land. Then, he drew a Mudbutton Torchrunner. I was at 3 life. ><
Wednesday, January 23, 2008--Today, I suddenly felt better. But I was still tired, so I decided to stay home another day to recover. So I did. Well, that's the flu for you. It starts suddenly, and then it ends suddenly.
Tuesday, January 22, 2008--Today, my illness got worse. I was so sick, I was unable to get out of bed, which made it rather difficult when I got hungry.
Monday, January 21, 2008--Today, I suddenly fell ill with the flu. I went to work in the morning because I thought I was fine, but as the day dragged on, I felt worse and worse, until I finally decided to go home early, where I collapsed in bed.

Saturday, January 19, 2008--Today was the Morningtide pre-release, but I decided not to go since I don't like driving to Seattle and waiting all day just to play 4 rounds of Magic.
So instead, I went to Jonathan's party thing at night. But Michael and Meher wanted to go home early, and I was the DD, so I had to go home early as well. But it's okay. I still had fun anyway.
Friday, January 18, 2008--After work today, I was gonna go play Magic the Gathering at Uncle's Games, but the FNM tonight was cancelled due to the Morningtide pre-release tomorrow.

So instead, I went to go see Cloverfield with MichCh and some testers.
It was so sickening that people actually walked out of the movie.

After going to the gym today (during which it snowed), and played FFTactics. I took down Velius/Belias at level 26 (by the end of the battle, some of my chars have reached level 27 and Ramza had reached level 28). Time on the clock: 29:33:32 (after the battle).

It's not an ideal setup, and some of these abilities are pretty useless (Concentration with a gun has no effect, I think), but it worked. I beat Velius on my first try this playthrough. (Wiegraf took me two tries.)

Sunday, January 13, 2008--MichCh had arranged a board game day at building 16, so we went. Unfortunately, it seems everyone and their brother had been out doing stuff last night, so everybody was late to the board game day. We still had fun, though.

Then, we went to Romio's for dinner. I already knew they had pizza, but apparently, they have a selection of pasta, too. At first, I was considering the Chicken Fettuccinne Alfredo, but I suddenly had a craving for the Lasagna, so I got that instead.
Weird, considering I normally don't peculiarly like red sauces.
Saturday, January 12, 2008--After pulling a half-day Caturday at work, for some reason, I decided to pull out my old WWF Smackdown game for the PS2 and play that. I spent some god-awful number of hours playing that.
Then, I watched some Lost. I'm trying to catch up on my Lost before the season 4 begins in February or something. (I'm currently halfway through season 2.)
Friday, January 11, 2008--After work today, me and JKern and MichCh and Ferdinand and Lash went to an Indian restaurant for food. Then, Ferdinand wanted to watch AvP2, but I didn't really want to see it again, and neither did anyone else, except MichCh. So Ferdinand and MichCh went to go see AvP2, and me and JKern and Lash went to see First Sunday because we thought it would be funny.
It sucked.
It sucked so bad.

Monday, January 7, 2008--Today, I went back to work.

And ever since then, I've almost exclusively called her "Princess".
Anyway, we were planning on going to the gym, but neither JKern nor MichCh wanted to go to the gym today. Ah well, it's okay. I lost 3 lbs over Xmas Vacation, so it's no biggie. (Yeah, I lost weight over Xmas Vacation. How did that happen, really?)
Sunday, January 6, 2008--Today, I flew back to Bluemond. And I didn't do much when I came back.

Saturday, January 5, 2008--Today, I was supposed to meet Conifer Rawnshen Chu for lunch. Unfortunately, she cancelled at the last second. Again. Well, that's Connie Chu for you.
Instead, Justin and I went to Red Robin, because he was enticed by unlimited steak fries.
Justin: Too bad there isn't a Blue Robin.
me: Well, there's a Quiet Robin.
Tomorrow, I fly back to Bluemond.

driven in worse conditions, so I braved the weather to go meet Kellie for lunch. Apparently, the storm had knocked out her power. (We ate Korean BBQ. Kellie likes spicy food.)

Thursday, January 3, 2008--Today is rather non-descript. Me and my family just went to Cupertino Village and ate some really good dumplings at HC Dumpling.

Afterwards, I came home and played more FFTactics for the PSP.
